1. Shipping Locations
STEPS Inclusive Design Ltd ships within the United Kingdom and to selected international destinations.
If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us before placing an order.
2. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within [2-5] working days of payment confirmation.
Orders are not processed on weekends or UK public holidays.
During peak periods, processing times may be extended.
3. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery timeframes are provided at checkout where available.
All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Courier disruptions
- Customs processing delays
- Weather conditions
- Industrial action
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are calculated based on:

- Courier rates
Shipping charges are displayed at checkout before order confirmation.
5. International Orders – Duties & Taxes (DAP Terms)
International shipments are sent under Delivered At Place (DAP) terms.
This means:
- Import duties
- Customs clearance fees
- Import VAT
- Local taxes
Are the sole responsibility of the customer.
These charges are determined by the destination country and are outside our control.
STEPS Inclusive Design Ltd does not collect or pay international import taxes on behalf of customers unless explicitly stated.
6. Customs Delays & Refused Shipments
If a shipment is delayed due to customs processing, we are not responsible for such delays.
If a customer refuses to pay required customs duties or taxes and the shipment is returned to us:
- Return shipping costs
- Courier administrative fees
- Any customs handling charges
Will be deducted from any refund due.
If the goods are destroyed due to refusal to pay customs charges, no refund will be issued.
7. Risk & Responsibility
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
Customers must inspect goods upon arrival.
If goods arrive damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence.
Failure to notify us within this timeframe may affect your ability to claim for transit damage.
8. Large or Heavy Items
Certain products may be bulky or heavy.
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- The delivery address is accessible
- Someone is available to receive delivery where required
- Adequate assistance is available to move heavy items
We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to restricted access.
9. Compliance Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products comply with local laws and regulations in the destination country.
STEPS Inclusive Design Ltd accepts no liability for products seized, restricted, or delayed by customs authorities.
