4. Intended Use
Our products are designed as inclusive living aids to support independence in domestic environments unless otherwise stated.
Unless explicitly specified:
- Products are not classified as medical devices
- Products must only be used for their intended purpose
- Products must not be structurally modified or altered
- Products must be used in accordance with the supplied documentation
Improper use may result in product failure, injury and void warranty coverage.
5. Product-Specific Safety & Load Ratings
Where applicable, maximum user weight limits, load ratings, safety guidance and environmental limitations are specified within:

Customers must review and comply with all product-specific safety information before use.
Exceeding stated load limits, improper assembly, or misuse may result in product failure and void the warranty.
6. Assembly

- Ensuring all fasteners and components are securely fitted
- Inspecting the product prior to first use
We are not liable for damage or injury resulting from improper assembly.
7. Inspection & Maintenance
Customers must:
- Inspect products before use
- Regularly check for wear, loosened fittings or instability
- Discontinue use if damage or instability is observed
Failure to carry out reasonable inspection and maintenance may void the warranty and limit liability.
8. Orders
An order is accepted only when we issue a dispatch confirmation.
We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of:
- Pricing errors
- Stock unavailability
- Payment failure
- Suspected fraudulent activity
9. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are displayed in GBP (£)
- VAT will be stated where applicable
- Payment must be received in full before dispatch

10. Delivery
Delivery timeframes are estimates only.
Risk passes to the customer upon delivery.
Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery if goods are damaged in transit.
We are not responsible for courier delays beyond our reasonable control.
11. Returns & Cancellation
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers may cancel within 14 days of receiving goods.
To qualify for return:

- Returned in original condition
- Returned with all components and documentation
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless goods are faulty.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods.
12. Faulty Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

If goods are faulty, customers may be entitled to repair, replacement or refund in accordance with statutory rights.
13. Warranty

Warranty does not cover:

- Misuse
- Exceeding stated load ratings
- Structural modification
- Normal wear and tear
- Failure to follow maintenance guidance
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability which cannot be excluded under law
Subject to the above, our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.
We shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of income
- Loss of opportunity
15. Intellectual Property
All product designs, technical documentation, branding, imagery and materials are the intellectual property of STEPS Inclusive Design Ltd.
Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
16. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in performing obligations where caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
